Feb 3rd. GRI TRI Meeting Kick-off

Kick-off the decade with a "Swimming tips, tools and technology" workshop hosted by club member Roy Rozman.

Improve your overall swimming experience by learning proper progressions to a more efficient freestyle, tools that will help you drill-in muscle memory, and the latest technical gadgets that will help you reach your personal goals.

This one hour interactive lecture is designed for the novice to the experience swimmer that needs to update their knowledge about stroke mechanics. Learn how to analyze the mechanics of a swimmers stroke with pictures and videos, and then learn how to correct defects or flaws. Break out of the daily swimming routine and mix it up with the newest tools and toys that help force proper technique. Review the best gadgets that will help to keep track and reach personal goals. Finally, there is a wealth of information of the internet, receive a list of the best websites that many coaches use for the latest news and trends in swimming.

Do you feel tired and sluggish when you swim? Do you want to improve your stroke mechanics? If so, this is the meeting for you.

Weekly workouts

< Thursdays - meet at Ridgewood Running Co.
6:30pm for about 4-6 miles
Average pace - 8:00 - 10:00 per mile
